Workshop title-“Introduction to Equity”

Speaker-Joanie Gallager, Division Head for Math and Science at District 214 Rolling Meadows High School in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

This evening’s workshop will provide the opportunity for participants to engage in a thoughtful, introspective exploration of equity, allowing all to reflect on how each influences the culture and climate of educational and community settings. We will then be better capable of creating a more culturally inclusive environment for all. The end result is to begin to develop a collaborative community that is better able to drive and support personal and institutional change toward greater overall equity. (Please bring something to write with/on for reflective and sharing purposes.)
